To connect the Yamaha YAS-101 Soundbar to your TV, please follow these steps:
1. Identify the available audio output ports on your TV. The most common options are optical digital and coaxial digital outputs. Consult your TV's user manual to locate these ports.
2. Choose the appropriate audio cable based on the available audio output port on your TV. If your TV has an optical digital output, use an optical digital cable. If it has a coaxial digital output, use a coaxial digital cable.
3. Connect one end of the chosen audio cable to the corresponding audio output port on your TV.
4. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the corresponding audio input port on the Yamaha YAS-101 Soundbar. The audio input ports are located on the back of the soundbar.
5. Once the connections are made, power on both your TV and the soundbar.
6. On your TV, navigate to the audio settings menu. Select the audio output option and choose the corresponding audio output port you connected the soundbar to (e.g., optical or coaxial).
7. Adjust the volume on the soundbar to a comfortable level using the included remote control or the TV's remote control if you have set up the learning function.
8. Test the audio by playing a movie or TV show. You should now hear the sound coming from the Yamaha YAS-101 Soundbar.
