To connect the Supersonic SC31 Channel DVD Player with Karaoke to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Check the package contents: Ensure that you have the included RCA audio and video cables. These cables have three connectors: yellow for video and red/white for audio.
2. Locate the AV ports on your TV: Look for the AV input ports on your TV. These are usually color-coded and labeled "AV In" or "Video In." The ports may be located on the back, side, or front of the TV.
3. Connect the DVD player to the TV: Take one end of the yellow RCA cable and plug it into the yellow video output port on the DVD player. Connect the other end of the yellow cable to the yellow video input port on the TV. Ensure that the colors match.
4. Connect the audio cables: Take one end of the red RCA cable and plug it into the red audio output port on the DVD player. Connect the other end of the red cable to the red audio input port on the TV. Repeat this step for the white audio cable.
5. Power on the DVD player and TV: Plug in the DVD player and turn it on using the power button on the unit or the remote control. Turn on your TV as well.
6. Select the correct input source on your TV: Use your TV remote control to navigate to the input/source menu and select the corresponding AV input where you connected the DVD player.
7. Test the connection: Insert a DVD into the player and press play. You should see the video playing on your TV screen and hear the audio through your TV speakers.
