To connect the AKG C3000 microphone to your recording equipment, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your recording equipment complies with safety regulations and has a ground lead.
2. Use a balanced cable with studio-grade connectors to connect the microphone to your recording device, mixer, or audio interface.
3. Connect the male XLR connector of the microphone to the corresponding female XLR input on your recording equipment.
4. Make sure to use a floating connector and avoid connecting the microphone to any power supply other than a phantom power source.
5. Ensure that your recording equipment is supplying +48V phantom power and that it is activated. The C3000 requires phantom power of 9 to 52V as per IEC 61938.
6. Double-check that all connections are securely in place.
