To install the Memphis Audio MXASB20V2 Bluetooth Soundbar Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Wiring:
- Connect the red wire (constant 12V) to the vehicle's positive battery terminal.
- Connect the black wire (chassis ground) to the vehicle's chassis or negative battery terminal.
2. Optional Wiring:
- The green female 3.5mm jack can be used for an optional auxiliary input. Connect any audio device via the 3.5mm jack.
- The white female 3.5mm jack is a low-level audio out designed to drive external amplifiers. This allows you to use the MXASB20V2 as the main source while adding more audio components to your system.
3. Mounting:
- Take the 10mm bolt with a lock washer and place it through the bottom of the clamp, then slightly thread it into the dove-tailed piece.
- Slide the assembly into one of the three dove-tail recessed areas to position the unit at the desired angle.
- Tighten the bolt to securely hold the bracket in place.
- Repeat this step for both included brackets. Both brackets must be used during installation.
- Use the top half of the bracket and tighten it down over the bar using the four included bolts (two per clamp).
- Tighten the bolts until the unit is secure.
4. Connect wires:
- Connect the power, ground, and optional auxiliary input or audio output wires.
