To connect speakers to the TOA BA-260 CU Power Amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker output terminals on the rear panel of the amplifier. These terminals are labeled as 4 Ω, 25 V, and 70 V.
2. Determine the appropriate speaker output for your speakers. Choose either the 4 Ω, 25 V, or 70 V output based on the impedance and voltage requirements of your speakers. Note that Class 2 wiring may be used.
3. Prepare the speaker cables. Strip the ends of the speaker cables to expose the bare wire.
4. Loosen the terminal screws on the corresponding speaker output terminal block.
5. Insert the stripped ends of the speaker cables into the terminal block, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) wires are correctly aligned with the corresponding terminals.
6. Tighten the terminal screws to secure the speaker cables in place. Make sure the wires are securely connected and cannot be easily pulled out.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for each speaker you wish to connect to the amplifier.
8. Once all speakers are connected, double-check the connections to ensure they are secure and properly aligned.
9. Power on the amplifier and adjust the master volume control to an appropriate level.
10. Test the audio output by playing a sound source through the amplifier and speakers. Adjust the volume as needed.
Note: It is important to refer to the speaker manufacturer's specifications and guidelines for proper impedance and voltage matching to ensure optimal performance and safety.
