To set up the Sonos PLAY:1 2-Room Wireless Smart Speakers, follow these steps:
1. Download the Sonos app: Install the Sonos app on your smartphone or tablet. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.
2. Connect the speakers to power: Plug in the power cords for each speaker into a power outlet.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi: Open the Sonos app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the speakers to your home Wi-Fi network. Make sure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
4. Add the speakers to the app: Once the speakers are connected to Wi-Fi, the Sonos app will detect them. Follow the prompts in the app to add the speakers to your Sonos system.
5. Configure speaker settings: In the Sonos app, you can customize various settings for the speakers, such as room names, speaker grouping, and Trueplay tuning (which optimizes sound based on your room's acoustics).
6. Play music: After the setup is complete, you can start playing music through the Sonos app. Select your preferred music source, choose the PLAY:1 speakers as the playback destination, and enjoy your favorite songs.
