To connect the Micca OoO Slim Center Channel Speaker to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker wire terminals on the OoO speaker. They are color-coded with black and red.
2. Identify the speaker output terminals on your amplifier. They are typically color-coded with black for negative (-) and red for positive (+).
3. Take the positive terminal on the amplifier and connect it to the positive terminal on the OoO speaker. Similarly, connect the negative terminal on the amplifier to the negative terminal on the OoO speaker.
4. Ensure that the connections are secure and tight to prevent any loose connections.
5. Use good quality oxygen-free copper speaker wire for the best performance. The appropriate gauge or thickness of the speaker wire should be selected based on the length of the wire. Refer to the manual for the recommended gauge for different wire lengths.
6. Make sure to select an amplifier that is capable of handling a 4-8 Ohm load, as the impedance of the OoO speaker varies within this range. Improper amplifier selection or setup may result in damage to the amplifier or speaker.
7. If you experience audible distortion, turn down the volume until the distortion goes away. It is important not to allow the speaker and amplifier to play for more than a few seconds when there is audible distortion.
Please refer to the manual for further details and illustrations on connecting the Micca OoO Slim Center Channel Speaker to your amplifier.
