To connect the BOGEN BG-CSD2X2 Drop-In Ceiling Speaker to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Remove the cover of the speaker and, if desired, install the cable clamp.
2. Feed the interconnecting cable into the electrical box.
3. Select the appropriate speaker leads for your system type:
- For 70V systems, use the red lead.
- For 25V systems, use the yellow lead.
- For the common (COM) connection, use the black lead for both 70V and 25V systems.
4. Interconnect the speakers in the system, ensuring that all leads of the same color are connected together. Avoid swapping colors.
5. Cut the bare wire tip off of any unused speaker lead.
6. Secure all mechanical connections and re-install the cover.
7. Set the tap selector switch on the speaker to the proper tap setting.
