When placing the Infinity Beta 20 Bookshelf Speakers, there are a few factors to consider for optimal sound quality. Here are some guidelines:
1. For stereo use, it is recommended to place the speakers 6 to 8 feet apart. This spacing helps create a wide soundstage and stereo imaging.
2. Position each speaker so that the tweeter is approximately at ear level. This ensures that the sound is directed towards the listener's ears for better clarity and imaging.
3. Bass output can be influenced by the proximity of the speakers to walls or corners. Generally, moving the speakers closer to a wall or corner will increase bass output. Experiment with speaker placement to find the best balance of bass level and stereo imaging in your room.
4. If you plan to use the speakers for home theater reproduction, place one speaker on the left and another on the right, along either side of the television monitor. Since the speakers are magnetically shielded, you can place them near the TV without worrying about distortion.
