To connect the Mojave MA-200 microphone to your audio setup, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have all the necessary accessories included with the microphone, including the AC-operated microphone power supply, the 16-foot microphone cable with 5-pin male and female connectors, and the MA-200 shock mount.
2. Plug one end of the 16-foot microphone cable into the 5-pin female connector on the microphone itself.
3. Connect the other end of the microphone cable to the corresponding 5-pin male connector on the power supply.
4. Plug the AC power cable (molded IEC business machine type) into the power supply and connect it to a power outlet.
5. Make sure that the power supply is set to the correct voltage for your region. The voltage selector switch is located on the power supply and can be adjusted for 100, 115, or 220-240 volts at either 50 or 60 Hz.
6. Once everything is connected, turn on the power supply.
7. Use a standard XLR cable to connect the output of the power supply to your audio interface, mixing console, or preamp.
8. Ensure that phantom power (+48V) is enabled on your audio interface or preamp to power the MA-200 microphone.
9. Position the MA-200 microphone according to your recording needs, using the included shock mount for stability and isolation.
10. Adjust the gain and other settings on your audio interface or preamp as needed for optimal recording levels.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully connect and use the Mojave MA-200 microphone in your audio setup. For more detailed instructions and safety precautions, please refer to the user manual provided with the microphone.
