To connect the RCA RTS736 Sound Bar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI Connection:
a. Use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect the HDMI OUT jack on the Sound Bar to the HDMI IN jack on your TV.
b. Make sure the HDMI cable is securely inserted into both the Sound Bar and the TV.
c. Set your TV to the appropriate HDMI input source to hear audio from the Sound Bar.
2. Video Connection:
a. Use a Video cable (not included) to connect the VIDEO OUT jack on the Sound Bar to the VIDEO IN jack on your TV.
b. Make sure the Video cable is securely inserted into both the Sound Bar and the TV.
c. Set your TV to the appropriate video input source to hear audio from the Sound Bar.
3. AUX Connection:
a. Use an Audio cable (included) to connect either the AUX 1 or AUX 2 jack on the Sound Bar to the AUDIO OUT jack on your TV.
b. Match the connector colors on both ends of the cable.
c. Set your TV to the appropriate audio output source to hear audio from the Sound Bar.
Note: If you choose the HDMI connection method, both video and audio signals will be transmitted through the HDMI cable. This means you don't need an additional audio connection to your TV. However, for the Video and AUX connections, you may need to adjust your TV's audio settings to output sound through the connected Sound Bar.
