To connect the Pioneer TS-WX120A powered subwoofer using the Speaker Line Input System, follow these steps:
1. Connect the lead to a power supply terminal from the fuse box that can provide a constant current level of more than 10 A. This connection should be made to the accessory connector in the car's fuse unit, which can supply over 2 A.
2. Make sure to connect the lead firmly to a metal part of the car body. Improper grounding can cause the unit to operate abnormally.
3. Use the speaker line input for this system. This means you will need to connect the speaker wires from your car stereo to the subwoofer. Make sure to connect the positive (+) and negative (-) wires correctly.
4. Once the connections are made, secure the wiring with cable retainers and electrician's adhesive tape or shrink tubing to prevent them from touching sharp edges or hot surfaces.
Please refer to the instruction manual for additional information and diagrams on the wiring process.
Note: It is always recommended to consult your car stereo's operation manual for specific instructions on connecting speakers in your car.
