To connect the Neumann TLM 103 microphone to your audio interface or mixer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your audio interface or mixer has XLR inputs. The TLM 103 uses a 3-pin XLR connector.
2. Locate the XLR output on the TLM 103 microphone. The pin assignments are as follows:
- Pin 1: 0 V/ground
- Pin 2: Modulation (+phase)
- Pin 3: Modulation (–phase)
3. Connect the XLR cable to the XLR output of the TLM 103 microphone.
4. Connect the other end of the XLR cable to the XLR input of your audio interface or mixer.
5. Ensure that phantom power is enabled on your audio interface or mixer. The TLM 103 requires 48V phantom power to operate.
6. Once connected, you can adjust the gain or input level on your audio interface or mixer to achieve the desired recording level.
