To connect the Amphony 1800 Wireless Speaker Kit to your audio source, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of audio output on your audio source. The transmitter can connect to a standard line-out audio interface or an amplified speaker output.
2. If your audio source has a line-out audio interface, use the supplied short audio cable to connect the transmitter to the audio source. Plug one end of the cable into the line-out audio interface on your audio source and the other end into the audio input on the transmitter.
3. If your audio source has an amplified speaker output, use the supplied short speaker cables to connect the transmitter to the audio source. Connect one end of the speaker cables to the speaker outputs on your audio source and the other end to the audio input on the transmitter. Make sure to observe the polarity of the cable connection to ensure correct signal transmission.
4. If you are using an iPod, you can dock it into the iPod cradle on the transmitter. Note that newer-generation iPods and iPhones may require a Lightning-to-30-pin adapter.
5. If your audio source has RCA outputs, you can use an appropriate adapter to connect the transmitter to the RCA outputs.
6. Connect the supplied small AC adapter to the DC jack labeled "7.5 V" at the rear of the transmitter. Plug the AC adapter into a standard outlet. It is recommended to use a surge protector to protect the transmitter from power surges.
