Installing the Canon PG-245 XL Black Ink Cartridge in your Canon printer is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Make sure your printer is turned on and the cartridge access door is open.
2. Wait for the printer carriage to move to the cartridge replacement position.
3. Remove the old ink cartridge by gently pushing down on it and pulling it out of the cartridge slot.
4. Take the new Canon PG-245 XL Black Ink Cartridge out of its packaging and remove the protective tape or cap.
5. Hold the cartridge with the label facing up and insert it into the corresponding slot in the printer.
6. Push the cartridge firmly until it clicks into place.
7. Close the cartridge access door.
