To connect the Masterplug M-WD77 Lightning to HDMI Digital AV Adapter to your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:
1. Start by using the provided Lightning cable to supply power to the adapter. Connect one end of the Lightning cable to the Lightning port on your iPhone or iPad, and the other end to the Lightning port on the adapter.
2. Connect the HDMI connector on the adapter to the HDMI port on your TV, projector, or monitor using a separate HDMI cable.
3. Switch your TV, projector, or monitor to the corresponding HDMI input source.
4. On your iPhone or iPad, a "Trust" option may appear on the screen. Simply click "Trust" to establish the connection between your device and the adapter.
Once the connection is established, your device's screen will be mirrored or extended onto the larger screen, allowing you to enjoy videos, photos, presentations, and more in high-definition clarity.
Please note that it is recommended to connect the adapter to a power source, with 5V/1A being the recommended power supply. For iPads, a power supply of 5V/2A may be required. Additionally, certain paid applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Videos, iTunes, Hulu, Comcast TV, Xfinity, Vudu, DIRECTTV, and others may not be compatible with this adapter due to copyright restrictions.
