The SPLAKS 8541735996 calculator is designed to automatically switch between solar power and battery power based on the lighting conditions. In well-lit conditions, the calculator will use solar power. When the lighting is insufficient, it will draw power from the AA battery.
You do not need to manually switch between the power sources. The calculator will automatically utilize the available power source depending on the lighting conditions.
