The Pxy DM-1200V calculator typically automatically switches between power sources based on available light. In well-lit conditions, it will use solar power from the solar panel located on the calculator. If the light is insufficient or when using the calculator in low-light environments, it will automatically switch to using the battery power. The calculator is designed to seamlessly transition between the two power sources, ensuring continuous functionality in various lighting conditions.
