To change the battery in the Empire ET-1200V calculator, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the calculator and ensure it is not connected to any power source.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator.
3. Use a small screwdriver or a coin to open the battery compartment cover.
4. Remove the old battery from the compartment, taking note of its orientation.
5. Insert a new AA battery into the compartment, ensuring it is inserted in the correct orientation as indicated by the polarity markings.
6. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
7. Turn on the calculator to check if it is functioning properly with the new battery.
