The OSALO OS-200MLPro Desktop Calculator is designed to operate on both solar power and battery power. Here's how you can switch between the two power sources:
1. Solar Power: The calculator is primarily powered by solar energy. The solar panel efficiently absorbs energy, allowing the calculator to function even in low-light conditions. Simply ensure that the calculator is exposed to sufficient light for the solar panel to absorb energy and power the calculator.
2. Battery Power: The calculator also requires a single AAA battery for backup power. To use battery power, ensure that a functional AAA battery is installed in the battery compartment. The battery serves as a backup power source when there is insufficient light for the solar panel to generate power.
Please note that the calculator will automatically switch to battery power when there is not enough light for the solar panel to operate. When the calculator is exposed to sufficient light, it will switch back to solar power.
It's important to have a functional AAA battery installed to ensure uninterrupted operation of the calculator, especially in low-light conditions.
