To switch between battery power and solar power on the Hello Kitty KT-2288A Calculator, follow these steps:
1. The calculator is powered by both solar energy and a AAA battery. By default, it will use solar power if there is sufficient light available. If the light is not enough or if you prefer to use battery power, you can manually switch to battery mode.
2. To switch to battery mode, locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator. It is usually secured with a small xxxx or latch.
3. Open the battery compartment and insert a AAA battery, ensuring that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the battery align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment securely.
5. Once the battery is inserted, the calculator will automatically switch to battery power. It will continue to use battery power until the battery is depleted or removed.
6. To switch back to solar power, simply remove the battery from the compartment. The calculator will automatically revert to using solar power if there is sufficient light available.
Note: It is recommended to have a fresh AAA battery on hand in case the solar power is insufficient or during periods of low light.
