To power on the Learning Resources LER0038 Primary Calculator, you have two options: solar power and battery power. Here are the steps to turn on the calculator:
1. Solar Power: Ensure that the solar panel on the calculator is exposed to light. If there is sufficient light, the calculator should automatically turn on.
2. Battery Power: If the solar panel is not exposed to enough light, or if you prefer to use battery power, you can use the included AA battery. Open the battery compartment and insert the AA battery following the manufacturer's instructions. Once the battery is inserted, the calculator should automatically turn on.
Please note that to conserve power, the calculator has an auto shut-off feature. It will turn off after a period of inactivity.
