To connect the ACASIS TBU405 40Gbps M.2 NVME Enclosure to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Assemble the Housing: Open the enclosure and carefully insert your M.2 NVMe SSD into the slot, ensuring it is positioned correctly and securely.
2. Fasten the SSD Securely: Use the supplied screws to firmly fasten the SSD in place, preventing any movement during operation.
3. Seal the Enclosure: Close the enclosure, ensuring it is fully sealed. The design allows for straightforward assembly.
4. Connect to Your Device: Attach one end of the 40Gbps Type-C cable to the enclosure and the other end to your computer, laptop, or any device with a compatible port.
5. Power It Up: If necessary, connect the power source. Some SSDs draw power from the USB port, while others may require an external power supply. Make sure the enclosure is powered.
6. Operating System Recognition: Your computer should identify the SSD as an external drive. Depending on your operating system, you may need to format or initialize it.
