To set up the Canon imageFORMULA R10 Portable Document Scanner for wireless scanning, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your scanner is powered on and connected to a power source.
2. Press the Wi-Fi button on the scanner to enable the wireless function. The Wi-Fi indicator light should start blinking.
3. On your computer or mobile device, go to the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the wireless network named "Canon R10-XXXXXX" (XXXXXX represents the last six digits of the scanner's serial number).
4. Open a web browser and enter "http://192.168.1.1" in the address bar. This will open the scanner's web interface.
5. In the web interface, click on the "Wireless LAN" tab.
6. Click on the "Wireless LAN Settings" button.
7. In the wireless LAN settings, select your desired network from the list of available networks.
8. Enter the network password if prompted.
9. Click on the "Apply" button to save the settings.
10. Once the settings are saved, disconnect from the "Canon R10-XXXXXX" network and reconnect to your regular Wi-Fi network.
11. Launch the Canon CaptureOnTouch software on your computer or the Canon CaptureOnTouch Mobile app on your mobile device.
12. In the software or app, select the Canon imageFORMULA R10 scanner as the scanning device.
13. You should now be able to perform wireless scanning using the Canon imageFORMULA R10 Portable Document Scanner.
