To connect the Canon EOS R8 to your smartphone using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, follow these steps:
1. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on your smartphone.
2. On the EOS R8 camera, press the Menu button.
3. Navigate to the "Communication Settings" or "Wireless Communication Settings" menu.
4. Select "Wi-Fi/NFC" or "Bluetooth Function" and enable it.
5. On your smartphone, go to the Wi-Fi settings and select the network name (SSID) displayed on the camera's LCD screen.
6. Enter the password displayed on the camera's LCD screen, if prompted.
7. Once connected, launch the Canon Camera Connect app on your smartphone.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection process.
Once connected, you can use the Canon Camera Connect app to remotely control the camera, transfer images from the camera to your smartphone, and share images directly to social media platforms.
