Calibrating the JAXWQ GMUSTH410 Stud Finder Wall Scanner is an important step to ensure accurate scanning results. Here are the step-by-step instructions for calibration:
1. Begin by turning on the stud finder using the ON/OFF button. Make sure the device is in the air, not touching any surface.
2. Select the desired mode, either AC mode or Metal mode, using the mode selection button.
3. Press and hold the Calibrate Button located on the side of the device. Keep holding the button until the decreasing bars on the screen disappear and a single beep is heard. This indicates that the calibration is complete.
4. Release the Calibrate Button to finish the calibration process.
It's important to note that in stud/deep mode, you should calibrate the tool on the wall you want to scan. In AC/Metal mode, calibrate it in the air.
