To install the DocketPORT DP687 Duplex Card Scanner, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. The installation program should start automatically. If it doesn't, double-click the MY COMPUTER icon on your Windows desktop, then double-click the CD-ROM drive icon. You can also manually start the installation by double-clicking the SETUP.exe icon located in the Driver folder on the CD.
3. Select the "Install Scanner Driver" option and follow the installation instructions.
4. Check the End User License Agreement (EULA) accept box and click the "Next" button.
5. Follow the on-screen step-by-step setup instructions to complete the installation.
6. During the installation, you may see a Windows Logo screen stating that the software is not Windows-certified. Select the "Continue Anyway" button to proceed with the installation.
7. You will be redirected back to the main menu at the end of the installation.
8. You can choose to install the PageManager7 or Adobe Reader 8.1 application now or later.
Note: It is recommended to install the software from the CD provided before plugging in your scanner. Make sure to remove the red warning label from the USB plug before connecting it to your computer.
