To transfer photos from your Canon PowerShot SX600 HS to your computer, you can follow these steps:
1. Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable. The USB port on the camera is located on the side, near the HDMI port.
2. Turn on your camera and set it to playback mode by turning the mode dial to the playback icon (a triangle inside a rectangle).
3. On your computer, open the file explorer or finder to access the camera's storage. The camera will appear as a removable storage device.
4. Double-click on the camera's icon to open it and navigate to the folder where your photos are stored. The default folder is usually named "DCIM."
5. Select the photos you want to transfer by either dragging and dropping them to a folder on your computer or by copying and pasting them.
6. Wait for the transfer to complete. The time it takes will depend on the number and size of the photos being transferred.
7. Once the transfer is finished, you can disconnect the camera from your computer by safely ejecting it. Right-click on the camera's icon and select "Eject" or "Safely Remove."
Your photos should now be successfully transferred to your computer. You can locate them in the folder you selected during the transfer process. For more detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips, please refer to the user guide provided with the camera.
