To connect the MUBVIEW Bell J9 Wireless Doorbell Camera to the app, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have inserted a Micro SD Card into the camera or have activated the 3-day free cloud service. Without storage, no video will be saved.
2. Ensure that your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera only supports 2.4GHz, not 5GHz.
3. Bring the camera close to your Wi-Fi router, preferably within 10-15 feet.
4. Charge your doorbell camera for about 8-10 hours until the charging LED turns BLUE from RED. You can use a USB-compatible mobile phone charger (DC 5V 1A~2A) for charging.
5. Press the doorbell button to activate the camera. The LED indicator should start flashing red once per second. If it doesn't, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to restore factory defaults.
6. Open the Mubview App on your smartphone and sign up with an email address if you are a new user. Follow the steps to complete the registration process.
7. Once registered, click on the "Add Device" or similar option in the app to start the connection process.
8. The app will guide you through the setup process, which includes selecting your Wi-Fi network and entering the password. Make sure to select the correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
9. The app will search for the doorbell camera and establish a connection. This may take a few moments.
10. Once the connection is successful, you will be able to see the live video feed from the doorbell camera on your smartphone through the app.
Note: If you encounter any issues during the setup process, make sure to check that your phone is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network, the doorbell camera is turned on and flashing red, and the Wi-Fi signal is strong with the correct password entered.
