Step 1: Disconnect
To begin the installation process, use the included jumper cable to connect both terminals on your current doorbell's chime after shutting off the electricity at the breaker. Keep in mind that the doorbell won't activate your existing chime.
Step 2: Connect
Next, connect the outside and unplug your current doorbell button. Attach the video doorbell wire to the back of the doorbell wiring.
Step 3: Set Up
Attach the faceplate, secure the doorbell to your house, and switch on the power at the breaker. To finish setting up, use the Ring App.
