To connect the QPIX DIGITAL FS8100 Film & Slide Scanner to your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Position the scanner on a stable surface within reach of a power source.
2. Use the supplied USB cable to establish a connection between the scanner and your computer. Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the scanner and the other end into a USB port on your computer.
3. Ensure that the scanner is switched on.
4. Launch the scanning software on your computer. This software should have been included with the scanner or can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.
5. Activate the scanner by pressing the power button on the scanner.
6. Gently insert your film negatives or slides into the designated scanner holder.
7. Use the scanning software on your computer to configure your preferred settings, such as resolution and file format.
