To adjust the exposure settings when scanning with the ION Pics 2 SD Slide and Film Scanner, follow these steps:
1. After inserting your slide or negative into the appropriate holder and selecting the "Film Scanner" mode, navigate to the main menu using the LEFT / RIGHT BUTTONS.
2. Use the LEFT / RIGHT BUTTONS to select "Capture" on the main screen and press the ENTER BUTTON.
3. The image you are about to scan will appear in the DISPLAY. To adjust the exposure, press the ENTER BUTTON / RIGHT BUTTON as shown on the DISPLAY. Use the LEFT / RIGHT BUTTONS to adjust the EV (exposure value) and press the ENTER BUTTON to select it.
4. Experiment with different EV values to find the optimal exposure for your slide or negative. Increasing the EV value will make the image brighter, while decreasing it will make the image darker.
5. Once you have adjusted the exposure settings, press the SCAN BUTTON to scan the image.
Note: It is important to wait for the live view window to stop adjusting for exposure before pressing the SCAN BUTTON to ensure accurate exposure settings.
By adjusting the exposure settings, you can improve the scan quality and avoid overexposed images.
