It can take up to 24 hours to fully charge the battery of the Philips HX6817-01 Sonicare Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush. However, you can use the toothbrush before it is fully charged. When you place the handle on the charger, the battery level indicator will illuminate and the handle will beep twice, indicating that the toothbrush is charging.
