To change the decimal setting on the Monroe 2020PlusX Printing Calculator, follow these steps:
1. Locate the Decimal Selector switch on the calculator. It is labeled with various decimal settings: +, F, 0, 2, 3, 4, 6.
2. Determine the desired decimal setting for your calculations. For example, if you want to display and print results with two decimal places, set the Decimal Selector switch to "2".
3. Move the Decimal Selector switch to the desired decimal setting. The selected decimal setting will be indicated on the switch.
4. The calculator will now display and print results according to the chosen decimal setting. For example, if you set the Decimal Selector to "2", all totals and results will contain two decimal places.
Note: If you set the Decimal Selector switch to "F" (Floating), the calculator will express results with maximum decimal accuracy. This setting is useful when working with dollars and cents, as it eliminates the need to enter the decimal point.
