Paper jams in the calculator are indicated by the letter 'P' on the display. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the paper is installed correctly in the calculator. Make sure it is aligned properly and inserted all the way into the paper slot.
2. If there is a paper jam, gently remove the jammed paper from the calculator. Be careful not to tear the paper during removal.
3. After removing the jammed paper, check for any remaining small pieces or debris in the paper path and remove them if necessary.
4. Once the paper path is clear, press the 'AC' button to clear the error symbol 'P' from the display.
5. If the problem persists or if you are unable to clear the paper jam, it is recommended to contact your original retailer or a nearby dealer for further assistance.
Note: It is important to address paper jams as soon as possible to prevent any damage to the calculator and ensure proper functioning.
