To replace the ink ribbon in the Victor 1560-6 Commercial Printing Calculator, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off the calculator: Before replacing the ink ribbon, make sure to turn off the calculator to avoid any accidental operation or damage.
2. Open the printer compartment: Locate the printer compartment on the back of the calculator. It is usually marked with a printer symbol. Gently open the compartment cover to access the ink ribbon.
3. Remove the old ink ribbon: Carefully remove the old ink ribbon from the printer compartment. You may need to unwind it from the spools or release any clips holding it in place.
4. Install the new ink ribbon: Take the new Victor Ink Ribbon 7010 and align it properly with the spools in the printer compartment. Make sure the ribbon is securely attached and properly threaded through any guides or rollers.
5. Close the printer compartment: Once the new ink ribbon is installed, close the printer compartment cover securely. Ensure that it clicks into place to prevent any loose connections.
6. Test the printer: Turn on the calculator and perform a test print to ensure that the new ink ribbon is functioning correctly. Check if the printing is clear and legible in both black and red colors.
Please refer to the Victor 1560-6 Commercial Printing Calculator manual for detailed instructions and illustrations on how to replace the ink ribbon.
