To power up the Cassida InstaCheck, follow these steps:
1. Connect the AC/DC adapter to the Cassida InstaCheck unit.
2. Plug the adapter plug into a power outlet.
3. Locate the ON/OFF power switch on the rear of the unit.
4. Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the Cassida InstaCheck on.
5. The unit will emit a beep and conduct a short self-test.
6. The screen will display both the FAIL and PASS lights and then go black, indicating that the unit is ready to operate.
