Cleaning the sensors and magnetic heads of the CARNATION CR2300 Bill Counter is an important maintenance task to ensure accurate counting and detection. Here's how you can clean them:
1. Turn off the bill counter and unplug it from the power source.
2. Use the provided cleaning brush to gently brush off any dust or debris from the sensors and magnetic heads. Pay attention to areas where bills pass through or come into contact with the sensors.
3. If necessary, you can dampen the cleaning brush slightly with a mild cleaning solution or rubbing alcohol. Be sure to wring out any excess liquid before using it on the machine.
4. Gently brush the sensors and magnetic heads again with the dampened brush to remove any stubborn dirt or residue.
5. Allow the sensors and magnetic heads to air dry completely before plugging in and using the bill counter again.
Note: It is important not to apply oil to the machine's rubber parts, as it may cause malfunction. Additionally, cleaning the sensors and magnetic heads at least once a week is recommended to maintain optimal performance.
