To install the drivers for the Digital Check CheXpress CX30 Check Reader, please follow these steps:
1. Before connecting the scanner to your PC, make sure you have the necessary drivers and scanning software installed. Digital Check does not provide scanning software, so please contact your bank or solution provider for assistance with installing the driver and software.
2. Once you have the driver installation files, disconnect any USB devices (such as printers or scanners) from your PC and turn off their power.
3. Connect the CheXpress CX30 Check Reader to your PC using the USB cable provided. Make sure the power supply is connected as well.
4. If you have downloaded the driver installation file to your PC, double-click on the file to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
5. If the driver installation utility does not launch automatically, you can manually start it by navigating to the location where the installation file is saved and double-clicking on it.
6. Once the driver installation is complete, the status LED on the scanner should turn green, indicating that the scanner is ready to be used.
Note: It is important to install the drivers before connecting the scanner to your PC. If you have already connected the scanner before installing the drivers, disconnect the USB cable and power supply, uninstall any previously installed drivers, and then follow the steps above to install the drivers correctly.
