To connect the Datalogic Heron HD3130 Handheld Barcode Scanner to your computer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer is powered on and running the appropriate operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
2. Locate the USB cable that came with the barcode scanner. This cable is used to establish the connection between the scanner and your computer.
3. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the scanner. The USB port is typically located on the bottom or back of the scanner.
4. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer. Make sure to use a USB port that provides power.
5. Once the scanner is connected to your computer, it should be recognized as a new device. The operating system may automatically install the necessary drivers for the scanner. If prompted, follow any on-screen instructions to complete the driver installation.
6. After the driver installation is complete, you can start using the Datalogic Heron HD3130 Handheld Barcode Scanner with compatible software applications.
