To set the timer on the Presto 4214 Electronic Big Digital Timer, follow these steps:
1. Press the M (minutes) and S (seconds) buttons to input your desired timing period. You can press and hold these buttons for faster setting.
2. Once you have set the desired time, press the START/STOP button to begin the countdown. The "M" and "S" on the display will flash to indicate that the timer is in use.
3. To stop the timing, press the START/STOP button. If you want to restart the timer, simply press the START/STOP button again.
4. When the set time elapses, the timer will emit an audible alarm for 30 seconds. To stop the beeping, press either the MIN, SEC, or START/STOP button.
5. If you want to reset the timer to 00:00, press the M and S buttons simultaneously.
