To connect your Canon MG3220 wireless printer with a scanner to a new network, please follow these steps:
1. If you have the setup file saved from the initial installation, locate and double-click the file "Mac-MG3200-1_0-ucd-1.dmg" in the Downloads folder. Then, double-click the Setup icon to start the installation. Alternatively, you can download the Mini Master Setup file from the Canon website.
2. Visit the MG3220 Drivers & Software page on the Canon website and select your computer's operating system and version.
3. Expand the "Drivers" section if necessary and click on the "MG3200 series Mini Master Setup" entry.
4. Read the details and disclaimer, then click "I Agree - Begin Download" to save the file to your computer.
5. Once the download is complete, double-click the file from its download location and then double-click the Setup icon to start the installation.
6. If the setup file or Mini Master setup prompts you to start the setup again, select "Start Setup Again."
7. Follow the on-screen instructions until the Connection Method Selection screen appears. Select "Wireless Connection."
8. Continue following the on-screen instructions until the Setup Procedure Selection screen appears. On this screen, select "Wireless Setup Using the USB Cable" as the recommended setup method. Connect the supplied USB cable between the printer and the computer.
9. Follow any additional on-screen instructions until the Software Installation List appears. Select any additional software you want to install and click "Next." The MP Drivers and Canon IJ Network Tool are required and cannot be deselected. It is recommended to install My Image Garden and Quick Menu for full printer features.
10. The drivers and software will install. Click "Next" on the Set Up New Printer window, then connect the USB cable between the printer and computer. Click "Next" on the Connect Cable screen.
11. If the Access Points screen appears, select the Access Point to connect to, enter the Network Key (password), and click "Connect." Refer to the manual supplied with your access point or contact its manufacturer for details on finding the Access Point name and network key.
12. If the Confirm Connection Access Point screen appears, click "Yes" to confirm the Access Point.
13. Disconnect the USB cable when the Disconnect Cable screen appears. Click "Next." The setup with the network is now complete.
14. Follow any remaining on-screen instructions until the Add Printer screen appears.
15. Click "Add Printer" on the Add Printer screen.
16. Select the MG3200 series with Canon IJ Network listed for "Kind," then click "Add."
17. Click "Next" on the Add Printer screen and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the setup and exit.
