To connect the Govee H5160 plug to your home Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your Wi-Fi router supports the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. The plug does not support 5GHz networks.
2. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices) and open it.
3. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
4. Plug the Govee H5160 into an electrical socket.
5. In the Govee Home app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a new device.
6. Search for "H5160" and tap on the device icon when it appears.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process.
Note: Make sure the distance between the plug and your Wi-Fi router is less than 100ft, and minimize obstructions like walls or windows between them. Also, ensure that you enter the correct Wi-Fi name and password during the setup process. The plug only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.
