To set the Zassenhaus M072341 timer, follow these steps:
1. Before first use, ensure that the timer is clean. Wipe it with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry thoroughly.
2. To wind the timer, turn the dial all the way to 55 minutes. This action is essential for accurate timing.
3. After winding it to 55, turn the dial back to your desired time. For example, if you need a 20-minute timer, rotate the dial back to the 20-minute mark.
4. Once you have set your desired time, the timer will begin counting down immediately. There is no additional start button – it's that simple!
5. Place the timer in a location where you can easily see and hear it. The strong magnet on the back allows it to be attached to any metal surface, such as a refrigerator or oven, for convenient viewing.
6. When the set time elapses, the timer will ring, alerting you that the time is up. The ringing will continue for a few seconds.
7. If you need to reset the timer at any point, simply repeat the process: turn the dial all the way to 55 minutes and then back to your new desired time.
