To charge the Cuisinart CWO-25 Electric Wine Opener before first use, follow these steps:
1. Plug one end of the power adapter into the charging base and the other end into an electrical outlet.
2. Place the wine opener into the charging base, ensuring it is properly engaged with the charging connection.
3. Charge the wine opener for at least 12 hours before first use.
4. The blue indicator light on the charging base will illuminate during the charging process. It will remain blue even when the wine opener is fully charged.
5. A full charge will allow the wine opener to open approximately 50 bottles of wine.
