To clean the Tiger JNP-S10U Rice Cooker and Warmer, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power plug and allow the rice cooker, inner pot, inner lid, and steam cap to cool down before cleaning.
2. Clean the body of the rice cooker by wiping it with a wet towel or cloth. Do not allow water to get inside the rice cooker unit.
3. Clean the inner pot and inner lid by wiping them with a wet towel or cloth. Do not wash dishes inside the inner pot.
4. Remove the dew collector and spatula from the rice cooker. Clean them with a soft sponge and tap or lukewarm water. Wipe off any water with a dry cloth and ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
5. If there are any adhering grains of rice or other objects on the heater plate, remove them. If necessary, use commercially available sandpaper (around #320) to gently clean the surface. Afterward, wipe the heater plate with a wet towel or cloth.
6. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners when washing the inner pot. Use a sponge or soft cloth with a standard kitchen detergent for tableware and kitchen utensils. Rinse the parts thoroughly to remove any detergent residue.
7. Allow all parts to dry in a well-ventilated location before reassembling the rice cooker.
Note: Do not immerse the power cord in water or splash it with water. Do not wash the entire rice cooker or pour water into the appliance or its base.
