To calibrate the Imetec 7786 Electronic Kitchen Bowl Scale, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the scale is placed on a flat, stable surface.
2. Press the power button to turn on the scale.
3. Wait until the display shows zero.
4. Press and hold the tare button for a few seconds until the display shows "CAL" or "0.0".
5. Release the tare button.
6. The scale will enter the calibration mode and display a calibration weight value.
7. Place a known weight on the scale that matches the calibration weight value shown on the display.
8. Wait for the scale to stabilize and show the weight on the display.
9. Press the tare button to confirm the calibration. The scale will exit the calibration mode and return to normal weighing mode.
Note: It is recommended to use a calibration weight that matches the maximum capacity of the scale for accurate calibration. If you do not have a calibration weight, you can use known items of a specific weight, such as a bag of sugar or a can of beans, as long as their weight is within the scale's capacity.
