To set up the Elo 1515L Desktop Touch Screen Monitor, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the monitor and ensure that all the components are included: the monitor, stand, power cord, and any additional accessories you may have purchased.
2. Connect the power cord to the monitor and plug it into a power outlet.
3. If you have an optional power brick, connect it to the monitor and plug it into a power outlet instead.
4. Connect the Mini D-Sub 15-Pin VGA cable (included) to the VGA port on your computer or other video source.
5. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the VGA input port on the back of the monitor.
6. If you want to use the touch functionality, connect the USB cable (included) to the USB touch interface port on the back of the monitor.
7. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer.
8. Adjust the monitor's position by tilting it forward or backward using the stand.
9. Plug in the power cord or power brick and turn on the monitor and your computer.
10. Adjust the display settings on your computer to match the resolution and aspect ratio of the monitor (1024 x 768 pixels, 4:3 aspect ratio).
11. Calibrate the touch screen by following the instructions in the user manual. This step ensures accurate touch input.
