To replace the brush head on the Voom Sonic VM-20953 Rechargeable Electronic Toothbrush, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the toothbrush is turned off and disconnected from the charging base.
2. Firmly grasp the brush head and twist it counterclockwise to detach it from the handle. Some models may have a release button that needs to be pressed before twisting.
3. Once the old brush head is removed, take a new brush head and align the metal shaft on the bottom of the brush head with the opening on the handle.
4. Gently push the brush head onto the handle and twist it clockwise until it is securely attached. You may hear a click or feel a slight resistance when it is properly in place.
5. Give the brush head a gentle tug to ensure it is firmly attached to the handle.
It is recommended to replace the brush head every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles show signs of wear. Using old or worn-out brush heads may not provide effective cleaning and could potentially harm your teeth and gums.
