To change the measurement units on the EatSmart Precision Elite Kitchen Scale, follow these steps:
1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface and turn it on.
2. The scale will count down 3-2-1 and go to zero.
3. Press the UNIT button on the face of the scale to cycle through the available measurement units: grams, kilograms, ounces, and pounds.
4. Keep pressing the UNIT button until you reach your desired measurement unit.
5. Once you have selected the desired unit, the scale will display weights in that unit.
Note: When the unit of measurement is set to grams, once you exceed 999 grams, the unit automatically converts to kilograms. When set to ounces, once you exceed 15.95 ounces, it converts to pounds and ounces. For example, an item weighing 17.8 ounces will display as 1 lb: 1.8 oz on the Precision Elite scale.
You can switch between different units of measurement at any time during the weighing process by pressing the UNIT button on the scale's face.
